Kidani Village is one half of Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World. Jambo House, is the main half. So what’s different? Kidani Village is located a 10 minute walk or van transportation ride away from Jambo House. It’s also home to the Disney Vacation Club portion of Animal Kingdom Lodge. But keep in mind you don’t have to be a Disney Vacation Club member to stay at Kidani Village! Kidani Village is a bit quieter, has larger and different room options, and a pool with a splash pad area for kids. The major difference is the lack of dining availability. Kidani Village is home to Sanaa, a fantastic table service restaurant, but lacks a quick-service option Disney resorts are known for.
This African-inspired resort offers a variety of accommodations, including spacious studios and villas with one to three bedrooms. Each villa is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, with amenities such as fully equipped kitchens, private balconies, and whirlpool tubs.
One of the highlights of Kidani Village is its stunning savanna views. Many of the villas overlook the resort's savanna, where you can observe a variety of African animals in their natural habitat. This includes giraffes, zebras, and gazelles, among others.

The deluxe studio includes one king bed and a twin-size sleeper chair, while the one-bedroom villa includes a king bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. The two-bedroom villa includes a king bed, two queen beds, and a queen-size sleeper sofa, while the three-bedroom grand villa includes one king bed, four queen beds, and a queen-size sleeper sofa.

All rooms at Kidani Village include a variety of features to enhance your stay. Each room includes a microwave, washer and dryer, television, and hair dryer. The one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas also include a whirlpool tub.
Room Views
Guests can choose between a savanna view or a standard (resort) view when booking their room at Kidani Village. The savanna view provides a stunning view of the African savanna, while the standard view overlooks the resort's pool or parking area.

Restaurant and Dining Options
In our opinion, the major downside to Kidani Village in comparison to Jambo House is the lack of dining options, particularly for families with kids.
Sanaa is the signature restaurant at Kidani Village, offering a unique blend of African and Indian cuisine. The restaurant features stunning views of the savanna, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal while watching the wildlife. Sanaa is a table service restaurant that also offers a quick service option for breakfast.
One of the highlights of dining at Kidani Village is the bread service at Sanaa. This popular dish features a selection of five breads and nine dipping sauces, making it a must-try for bread lovers.
Kidani Village lacks the traditional cafeteria-style quick-service option that is customary for Disney resorts. At Animal Kingdom Lodge, this option is called the Mara and is only located at Jambo House. With kids, it’s too far of a walk in a pinch and can leave parents in a bind if you need a quick snack.
Room Dining
If you prefer to dine in the comfort of your own room, Kidani Village offers room service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features a variety of options, including salads, sandwiches, and entrees. You can also order snacks and desserts to enjoy in your room.

Wildlife at Kidani Village

Savanna Wildlife
The savanna is home to a variety of animals, including zebras, giraffes, kudu, hoofed animals, gazelles, flamingos, impala, waterbuck, ground hornbill, red river hogs, ankole cattle, white-bearded wildebeest, eland, pink-backed pelican, ostrich, marabou stork, blue crane, and other birds. You can observe these beautiful creatures from your balcony, or you can take a guided tour to learn more about them.
Sunset Savanna
The Sunset Savanna is a unique feature of Kidani Village. It is a smaller savanna that is specifically designed for viewing during the evening hours. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset while watching the animals in their natural habitat.
