Before You Begin

Before you can purchase a Lightning Lane pass, you’ll need to complete a few essential steps:

Download the My Disney Experience App: Ensure you have the latest version of the app installed on your smartphone. It's available for both iOS and Android devices. The change from Genie+ to Multi Pass required an app update.
Connect Your Travel Group: Add everyone in your travel group to your Family & Friends list in the My Disney Experience app. This allows you to purchase passes and make plans for everyone who is eligible.
Plan Your Day: Gather your group’s wish list for attractions and experiences. Use the “My Day” feature in the app to save your group’s top picks.

Remember, everyone in your party must have valid theme park admission. Depending on the type of admission and the date of your visit, park reservations may also be required. Be sure to check the theme park reservation requirements.

Pricing for Lightning Lane passes varies based on the date, theme park, and attraction. Availability is limited, and prices will be displayed in the My Disney Experience app when you make your purchase.

For the first day, pricing is as follows:
Magic Kingdom: $29

EPCOT: $21

Animal Kingdom: $18

Hollywood Studios: $26

How to Purchase

When you’re ready to purchase Lightning Lane passes, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the My Disney Experience App: Tap the “Purchase” button under Lightning Lane Passes section on the home screen.

Step 2: Select the Date

Step 3: Select the Theme Park (if park hopping, select the park you will start in for your first 3 selections)

Step 4: Choose Your Pass Type: Select either a Lightning Lane Single Pass, a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, or both.

For a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can choose up to 3 experiences and their respective arrival windows in advance.
For a Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can select one attraction and its arrival window.

Step 5: Select your party you wish to purchase for

Step 6: Make 1 Selection from Group 1 and 2 selections from Group 2

Change Park and/or Date: You can change the selected park and date in advance, subject to availability, up until you redeem your first Lightning Lane selection of the day.
Change Experience and/or Arrival Window: You can change each selected experience and its arrival window in advance, subject to availability, up until the start of the arrival window.

Unlock More Magic

On the day of your park visit, after redeeming a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection (or once the arrival window has passed), you can use the app to check for additional availability:

Book Additional Passes: You can book additional Multi Pass experiences one at a time until the park closes, subject to availability.
Park Hopper Benefits: If your admission includes Park Hopper benefits, you can select Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences in different theme parks.

Important Information

Limitations: You can only enter each attraction using a Lightning Lane pass once per day.
